A new member to the Shootcase family

Two weeks ago we went to the Photo and Film Expo at the CocaCola Dome in Johannesburg. We attended a workshop on the Art of Photography by PIX Magazine editor, Fiona Peake. Peake showed a few photos of her own work and others who also inspire her. When her Lomography photographs hit the screen I felt excitement stir inside. It was  so refreshing to listen to a professional photographer who has a passion for the art and emotion in photography rather than just the technical rules about it.

I was immediately sold on buying myself a Lomography camera. I love the unexpected outcome of photographs taken by these cameras and I fully support their initiative of 'the future is analogue'. Someone has to start somewhere to save the culture of film photography.

Be sure to see some of the photographs taken by this new member of the Shootcase family and do not to miss out on the Photo and Film Expo next year!
