First Film Developed

Ilford XP2 ISO 400

This photo was the first of the film. We were trying to figure out some setting when we accidentally took the picture. It was taken inside of an conference room. I love the randomness of film photography. When the shot is taken it is taken.

This photo was taken in front of the graphic design department where I study in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

We went to shoot this old, broken and burnt down building little knowing that we actually need a permit because there was a law suit going on at the time around the renovating of the building. Sad to say we were almost escorted in hand-cuffs from the location. Luckily we got a few great shots.

Beautiful old bike which stood in front of the super market. Take your camera everywhere, you never know when you might just stumble onto a treasure. Taking this photo provoked an interesting conversation with a stranger telling me nostalgic stories about his dad who owned the same bike 50years ago. Photography connects people.

Absolutely love this photo for the grainy, mysterious effect is has.

The interior detail of one of my friend's cars.
